Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
Computer: HV pavillion hv 6000 laptop
2 weeks ago, get message "no audio device installed"
spent 8 hours on forums - DID evertying they said
90 minutes on line with HP tech support = their final? back up, and
start over --
now adobe not working either -- says my computer can't download Activex controls
have cleaned registry, done spyware removal, and defrag ...
BIG MESS...can you help?
I have done the first part of the recommendation re: spybot and ad aware. Cleverer
was right on - I did have trojans and a bunch of other stuff.
Had to scan 2X ... but that part appears ok now.
Do not know how to re-install my service pack 2, however. Which is

U have trojan or virus.
and DL and install Spybot search and Destroy
Goto wwww.lavasoft.de and get AdAware. Install and RUN it too
Reinstall your last SPack again
Try everything now
If still no go joe, Run WinMSD or Sysinfo from Start, Run and get Make model of the devices... then goto www.scroogle.org and search for them
ex: Audigy 8120 Driver <<<< (Make Model and the word DRIVER)
