Question about Delphi Roady XT XM Radio Receiver
My belkin xm was stolen out of my vehicle...just the reciever... they sent me an onyx xm as a replacement..(belkin was no longer avail) I'm trying to plug the new onyx receiver in to the old belkin home dock that came with the stolen reciever.... when I plug it in to the home dock it powers up, shows all three reception bars and even the xm station comes up... but no sound comes out. I've double checked connections and fm channel the reciever is tuned to. another interesting note, the fm channel choice under radio id in the menu, does not show up when I plug it in to the belin home dock. it only shows up when i plug it in to my car using the onyx car dock. thanks for the help

SOURCE: Roady XT Transmitter problem
Mine is doing the same as well. Been working for 1 year. Now it starts cutting out while listening. I noticed if it is broadcasting the fm frequency menu is there. The minute it cuts out I press Menu and that menu item is gone. It comes back once the radio starts working again. Mine is 1 year old. I got it Christmas of 2006. I do know that if you have it directly connected then this menu item will not appear and that is by design. I think my xm roady xt has gone bad.

SOURCE: great signal, so sound
My XM Boombox is also white and it is a Belkin. The folks at Delphi told me the receiver in the boombox is screwed up which over time also screws up the Delphi receiver. Belkin is sending me a new boombox and Delphi is sending me a new Roady XT.

hi Mr.Frazier....is the xm radio hardwired installed? if it's a yes you have to go to a professional(bestbuy, retailers) to have the connection check.. the problem is not within the xm radio..it's on how it was installed or set up...
If the radio was not built..well, that's much better we just have to check the audio connection from you're xm to fm radio (make sure to check if what band it is connected..such as AUX,CD etc.) if there's a sound but you're only getting preview channels..refresh must be send on the radio...you can call xm to ask for that OR do it online at www.refresh.xmradio.com and type in your 8 digit radio I.D just have to follow the activation instruction faithfully...Godbless!

I agree with you. It sounds like an internal audio circuit problem, especially if the tape adapter does the same thing. Have you tries headphones on the unit? If they work, then get the sure connect as it plugs into the headphone jack (Aux out jack)
By the way, you as an XM customer for years, usually XM will just give you another unit to keep you as a customer. I've seen it many times. Couldn't hurt to ask!
