Question about Tomtom ONE 3rd Edition GPS
Continues to verbally tell you directions but screen has to be touched every 20 seconds to keep screen on. I purchased this product for a christmas present for christmas of 2007. this problem started in october of 2008. I have made numerous attempts to contact tom tom by telephone but cant get through due to hours of being put on hold and disconections (hang-ups). i love the unit but this problem needs to be addressed. I would buy other units for gifts if tom tom would stand behind their products!!!!!!!!
I own a TomTom also. I have listed the procedures from TomTom Home and hope this will work. First try a soft reset (Reset button is located at the bottom of the TomTom device next to where the DC plug plugs in). Make sure your batteries are fully charged up or the USB cord is plugged in.
