DG31PR backdoor bios password

You can't. you need to read your manual, locate the cmos reset jumper, and open the case. There is no such thing as bios reset software as it's at the hardware level that bios operates.

I have lost the bios password... any body help me to recover without opening case

This is a tricky one because the BIOS password is made to be the hardest password on a computer to break. Some manufacturers allow you to enter BIOS without the BIOS password but most do not. Here are some troubleshooting methods starting with the easiest and moving on to the hardest.

To enter BIOS hit the F2 key repeatedly as the computer boots up. You should enter BIOS after the first loading screen. If this does not send you into BIOS, try the ESC, DEL, and F1 keys. Once in BIOS find where you can set the password and reset it or enter a blank password as your new password.

If you can't access BIOS or are prompted for a password once you enter BIOS, try the following methods to flush the BIOS password cache:
1. Contact your manufacturer's support and ask if they have a backdoor BIOS password that they will allow you to use. This works to allow you to enter that password instead of your own and easily fixes the whole problem, but not all companies will tell you their password. You can also do a google search for your manufacturer's backdoor BIOS password since many of them have been discovered.
2. Send your laptop to your manufacturer to have them reset the password manually, although this takes an undisclosed amount of time and they will often make you pay a fee if you are not under warranty.
3. If you don't want to pay your manufacturer, open your laptop and locate the motherboard. On the motherboard there is a CMOS battery, if you don't know where this is use your PC manual. Remove the CMOS battery for an hour and then place it back on the motherboard. This should reset the password. After this turn on your computer and enter BIOS. This will reset all your BIOS settings so it may take a few minutes to open. After it is open, just exit BIOS and everything should be working properly. Just be very careful when opening the laptop and handling the CMOS battery because you can severely damage your laptop if you don't handle it properly.

Thanks for using FixYa and good luck!

My toshiba equium just wont except the main password, cant reboot..cant get into bios

At this time you need to cleat the BIOS password first so that you can get into BIOS. To cleat the BIOS password you need to open your laptop you just remove the battery first. Remove the screw and open the back cover. Locate the CMOS battery, all password are stored in CMOS memory.

Remove the CMOS battery to clear the stored BIOS password, Or you can remove also the CMOS jamper near the CMOS battery and turn on the unit with in 10 second and turn off. Reinsert the jamper. Now the BIOS password are already clear you can get now in BIOS to change some settings. Good luck
