Make sure they match.

Check your Network Connection Properties especially your TCP/IP properties. If set for automatic configuration set it to DHCP and make sure on your properties that theres no static IP address and that "Obtain TCP/IP address automatically" and "Obtain DNS server address automatically" is also check.

Make sure Authentication type is also the same.

Wireless security settings on laptop do not match network settings

You will need to change the existing connection to match the "new" settings. I have had this issue with visita as well. If you open the wireless connections, go to advanced settings click on the "saved" SSIDs you can either delete the exisiting one, and start over (easy) or you can modify the settings to match the "new" upgraded system. Visita and XP store these for future use, problem is if one changes it "Doesn't match" so just delete the existing one and recreate it.

If they changed the password for the system or the type of encryption WEP to WPA etc this will correct the issue.
You may want to turn off the IPv6 which can also cause issues with Wifi in some locations.
