The site from where you have downloaded the HTC connect app might be an older version of it. May be you have downloaded an Older version. You can download the latest version from the HTC site or to avoid any discrimination you can buy it. And may be your phone is not connecting the net via GPS because there might be a problem in the network or something other. You can go to the nearest HTC outlet and they may help you out! Good Luck!

How do I transfer my pictures from my HTC phone to my Laptop?

Maybe your USB cable is damaged. Try to use WiFi connection, download the app (PS PC suite WiFi explorer) in Google play then connect your laptop and HTC phone to the same WiFi router or use tethering from your mobile phone. Its a web based explorer its very easy to use just follow the simple instructions from the app.

I purchased an HTC TYTN II phone but do not know how to sync it to my PC. I did not recieve a software CD. I have already downloaded Windows Mobile Device Center to my computer -- it runs Windows...

The htc handsets all come with software that allow you to connect to the computer, it will interface with Windows. The physical connection is the USB on your PC to the Mini USB on the phone. This HTC come with this lead (your probably using to charge the unit).

Once connect you can download all sorts of things.

Hope this helps

My HTC phone will not sync with the laptop

Hello, have you downloaded the most recent version of HTC Sync from their website?
Does your laptop recognise your phone when you plug it in?
Does the charging light indicator light up on your phone when you plug it into the laptop?
When you get the connection menu on the phone (IF you get it) are you selecting 'HTC Sync'?
Does HTC Sync start on the laptop?
Are you selecting each category and telling it to sync, say, your pictures, music etc, then clicking Sync Now?

I have the HTC hero, I want to connect to my laptop to the internet using my phone. I downloaded the download to sync it and it connected and everything but will not connect to the internet how do i do...

The sync download is not for connecting to the internet. It's for syncing your calender phone book and files with your pc. Go to the android market on your phone and download something like pdanet or easytether. follow the directions. it will need to be installed on your laptop or desktop as well
