Question about Bosch WFMC 3200 Front Load Washer

Drum locking bolts - front loading washing machine

We forgot to remove the drum lock bolts before we started the washer and it went so wild on spin cycle it put a hole in the wall. Does anyone know if this causes permanent damage to the machine? It was only for one wash, we've removed them now. Thanks for all the info, we were about to return the machine!

If the hole is in the rear cover of m/c, then it should be o/k, if it is in the side then it could have caused some damage.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

Replaced the water pump motor, then when I went to start the washer, it wouldn't spin and I got an LE code. Repeated process several times.

Hi

Error code LE indicates that either the motor is not turning or has locked up for some reason. It can also be due to Hall sensor which monitors direction and speed of the motor. If the sensor is faulty then also this error appears. Motor lock can be caused by several things from a loose connector, to a bad motor. To make sure it's not a locked motor, try turning the drum with your hand. And, if there is any resistance while turning the drum or the drum doesn't move freely then the motor is locked and you'll need to get it replaced. If the motor seems to be fine then you would need to replace the Hall Sensor. To replace the hall sensor, take the back cover off. Take the big nut off and remove the motor rotor. Remove the bolts holding the motor windings. Remove the electric plug on the sensor and unclip it from the motor winding. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

We have moved to a different city and as adviced we got the drum locked for safety. How can I remove that, its a front load LG washing machine

hi.
the locks on LG machines are normally 2 or 3 long bolts on the rear of the machine screwed into the back of the drum. all you can normally see are the bolt heads, with what may appear to be a plastic washer on them.

hope this helps

Our LG Tromm Washer is struggling to spin. Humming sound in the beginning and then displays LE on the panel. Heard it may be the Stator Sensor/Part. Any Advise please!!!

Definitely the Stator/Sensor/Hall switch. Go to http://www.mcminone.com and order part number 6501KW2002A (if your machine is model number WM2277HW). Remove rear panel, remove three retaining screws for sensor wires at left bottom of drum, remove drum outer retainer bolt in center, stator assembly is now exposed. Remove bolts holding stator assembly (I think there were six) and replace switch assembly by lightly prying tab locks off of stator. Press on new switch and reassemble...

If you mean the inner drum - remove the agitator, pull off the sofetener cup and remove the 15mm bolt down inside to remove agitator, then secure inner drum to center bearing.
If you mean the outer drum, check the holding down springs visually, remove the front panel by inserting a flat blade approx 4" from each side at the front to release clips, then remove 2 small bolts to remove front panel.
Also check and replace drive belt, tilt machine backwards to gain access underneath.

Maytag Washer leaking from front

If I remember correctly, you need to remove the drum to get at the bolt that you are talking about. There is a rubber washer that provides the seal. The locking collar on the hub is Left hand thread. If you work at it you can get it loose.

DRUM NOT SPINNING

Disconnect your washer's plug for 5 minutes or more from the wall socket. Plug in. Press "end of cycle" button for over 5 seconds, the child lock comes off.
Press it again and the child lock comes on................ If this does not work, try the pre-wash button likewise.
