SOURCE: water cannot be stopped running through shower

depending on the type of diverter you can replace or repair the divert-er valve. if it is a faucet mounted then replace the faucet. if it is an internal control valve then you can probably replace the core to fix the problem.

SOURCE: Low shower head flow from Delta R1824 shower

Try exchanging the Delta head with one of the other shower heads you are happy with if you haven't already done so. No change in the flow means it's not in the head, and change means it is.

If it is in the head, since you are on a well and not a municiple water supply, you might consider removing the factory install flow controll device located just below the threaded area that mounts to the shower arm. These inserts can be a real bugger on some heads and each one is a little different than the last. The trusty nail often works well.

Your body sprays, I believe, are factory fixed at something like 2.2 gpm and non adjustable.

Also consider for a moment a garden hose with trigger spray head on it. When you squeeze the trigger the water will shoot out a certain maximum distance. If you were to take an ice pick and poke a hole in the hose, that maximum distance will be slightly reduced. The more holes in the hose the less the maximim distance. Correspondingly, the more holes you poke the less distance each hole will squirt because you have the same pressure and volume of water but more exit points.

A monitor has a flow rate of about 6 gpm at 85 psi which is pretty average for shower valves. If your other showers have only one exit point(i.e. one head) and the R1824 has 3 with the same pressure and volume, the garden hose illustration can also explain the volume change as well.

Information needed: Celsius WF-604 Air Cooler - Their are 2 Push Button Switches on the cooler the: The Cool Push Button Switch and the Swing Push Button Switch. This creates a total of 4 sets of...

The on/off COOL switch controls the moving pad (on rollers), when ON the pad rollers rotate and pull the pads around in a circle. Pad picks up water at the bottom and evaporates water at it rises, thus it is an evaporation cooler.

The on/off SWING switch controls the oscillating louvers which can be stationary or moving left and right. It directs the air flow from straight ahead to the sides.

Either can be on or off.

The Speed controls switch, which you did not mention, determines how fast the fan blades will spin.

Hi hoover 600 mb water wont shut off when it gets to the right level even when i push in the button and un plug it can you help Thanks

This is a failure of the inlet valve if the water flows all the time but if the water flows uncontrolled only when the machine is put on start then it is the failure of the WATER LEVEL SENSOR which is normally a pressure switch.
When the level of water reaches the set level then the pressure of the water will switch on the switch to contact and so give message to the controller to SHUT down the inlet valve.

Water doen not flow through the door disposal

Check your owner's manual for specific instructions on unlocking the dispenser selections. Otherwise, you may have an issue with the dispenser control board, dispenser water switch (if applicable) or the water inlet valve.

Washer keeps giving FH code. no restrictions in water flow. maybe a sensor?

After 30 seconds if the control does not detect water entering the machin then the water valve will be shut off and the error code show.

If the control has turned the water valves on and 8 minutes pass and the flow meter has measured roughly 10.1/2 gallons of watergoing through it, but hasnt detected the pressure switch being triped, the water valve will shut off and the fh error code will blink

First push the PAUSE/CANCEL key twice to clear the control

If no water in the unit do this: - Make sure the valves at the water source are turned on fully.
Inspect for plugged or kinked inlet hoses or maybe plugged screens in the inlet valves
Also inspect the water valves operation

If there is water in the washer: - Inspect the drain pump, and the pressure switch hose for any kinks or rips. also check for proper connections with that hose to the tub and pressure switch.

may be a siphon problem read your manual on that.
Check all wireing harness connections to the Water valves, pressure switch, drain pump, flow meter, and the ccu or cental control unit
Inspect all hoses for any leaks
Replace the failed component if found ...

hope this helps

What does ventilate mean

You have to flow water through the steam wand. Push the button for water. Then open the knob on the right to flow water. Once the computer see the the flow meter is spinning again it will clear the light for ventilate. If it doesn't clear the flow meter is not spinning.

Gaggia titanium espresso ventilate is on the screen.I press button 26,nothing happens

When you push the water button, then open the steam knob. This will allow water to flow. If you don't get water to flow check the water tank and make sure that it is down on the machine completely. The other thing that will not cause water to flow is a restriction in the flow meter.

Whirlpool top loader

You either have a defective pressure switch or water inlet valve. Start to fill the machine with warm water so that both solenoids on the water inlet valve (hot and cold) are activated. After about 30-60 seconds, push the timer knob in to stop water flow. If the water continues to flow, replace the water inlet valve. If this is the case, it may take a few times of starting and stopping water flow to allow solenoid to heat up and become symptomatic. If water flow stops abruptly each time knob is pushed in, you most likely have a defective pressure switch (water level switch).

No Ice on GE Side by SIde -TFX25JRYF-WW

Usually there is a big metal frame-switch that controls the flow of water. It is located right above the ice tub. If your ice tub is full the ice cubes push this metal switch up so as to stop water supply. If you remove the ice tub out, chances are that you have accidentally pushed the metal switch all the way up until it clicks and stays there. In this position, the ice mold water flow is permanently stopped.

Insert the tub again in its position slowly. Before fully inserting it, pull the metal switch down inside the empty tub. With the switch down, insert the ice tub back into position.

If that does not apply for your refridgerator, look for a similar water flow switch to turn back on the water flow.

Hope this helps
