SOURCE: Power LED blinks red

it is a bad fan. it also could be a power supply. Quite often the real problem is dirt clogging up the fan(s) to the point that they need to be replaced. Operation of the set in a dirty environment is not a good idea

SOURCE: Sony KP-51Ws520

9 blinks means, "Zero Crossing Detector" and the probable cause locations listed are "D6166 or D6114 is open (G board)". I had the exact same problem so I just ordered a new G board and swapped it with the old one and now everything works fine! You could order a new one at this site: http://www.partstore.com/PartSearch.aspx?PartNumber=A1054157A&x=31&y=19. The Sony board number is A1054157A. Replacing the G board is rather simple; all you got to do is pull out the back cover of the TV and the G board is the first board on your very left. After that unplug the four connectors and replace it with the new one. Here is a picture of the G board inside your TV: http://img47.imageshack.us/img47/8396/backev6.jpg. Hope this helped!

I need instructions to turn off service light in 1995 850 volvo

Keep pen and paper ready, as you might have to write down error-codes as you want to do this.

Turn ignition OFF

open the lids of the diagnostic sockets situated in front of the enginecompartment (by the fillercap for the windshieldwasherfluid)

Put the socket with a short lead on in the hole marked "1" on module A

Turn ignition ON

press the pushbutton on the top for about 1 second and WAIT.
The LED will blink in a sequence that indicates if there is any problems that need to be solved.

The led will blink 1 to 5 times, have a pause, blink 1-5 times , have a pause and blink 1-5 times.
Write down the sequence as you count the blinking. eg: 1-3-1

When one sequence is finished, you press the pushbutton again, and read the next code.

Repeat this until you read the first code again.

If the first code reads 1-1-1, all is OK and you can proceed.

After this you can reset the servicelamp:

Leave the connector in socket 1 on modula A.

Turn ignition OFF

Turn ignition ON again

Press the pushbutton for 5 seconds. Be patient.
Release the pushbutton and wait about three seconds, then the LED starts to blink rapidly
press the pushbutton for 5 seconds again and release it.

Turn the ignition OFF

Remove the connector from the socket, replace the lids and put the connector back in its rest.

Turn on ignition and start engine, the service lamp should not be on.

Any error-codes? Refeer to a Volvo-dealer.
