Kenmore freezer Is there a reset button on it anywhere?

    i have a kenmore elite upright freezer with a built in thermometer and the alarm well not stop going off, it is new and we dont know what is wrong with it and the people on the phone said to unplug it and plug it back in and that hasnt worked either, please can you help.

try unplugging it and leaving it unplugged for a while. 15 minutes maybe? Leave door closed so it stays relatively cold. It should reset the unit.

There is a little button on the circuit board. Smart thing to do is to speak to the manufacturer. The factory help is in Peach Tree Georgia. Its actually American made and they are friendly. Good luck and hope this helps.

Wherehis alarm reset button?


KM says this is an ice maker. Reset button is on the control board. Board is in compartment on the right side where the power switch is located. Remove 2 screws and remove cover by sliding forward. Watch for wires, do this carefully. On the board, up at the top, is a small, white button. With power on, push the button.

I can't turn my Kenmore upright freezer on.


Try disconnecting power for about 30 seconds, and then restore power. This will reboot the control and maybe restart.
