I) if you want to validate ur copy of windows xp u can do it by going online to microsoft website,
   www.microsoft.com

ii) if you want to register it you can do it online or calling the customer care of computer company

for eg: for HP computer you can call HP Total Care(Toll Free) and they will register ur computer(this is              best option for registering)

Thanking you

If a new computer, you will get a prompt to register. Just fill out the info and click send, or print it and mail it.

How to Register DLL files

On Microsoft Window's operating systems, a DLL stands for Dynamic Link Library. DLL's are relatively small files that include a library of functions- usually data that can be shared across multiple applications. DLL's are called upon by various applications and can be loaded and utilized by these applications concurrently.
Registering a DLL
There are two easy ways that a DLL can be registered in your Window's operating system's registry, the first is the simplest, known as self registering files, the second way is to manually register a DLL.

Self Registering Files

It should be noted that many DLL files are self registering, they include information required to store themselves in the operating system's registry. As the name states, self registering files require no human intervention. Self registering files will automatically store themselves on your machine and become accessible when needed. Besides DLL files, other types of files that are sometimes self registering include .EXE and .OCX.

Manually Register Files

The second method used to register DLL files on your computer is via manual registration. Manually registering a DLL file is quite simple and can be done in only a few steps.
1. The first step is turn on your computer, launching your Window's operating system.

2. Once your Window's operating system has loaded completely, click on Start and then click on Run.

4. Once the command is input into the Run field correctly, press Enter.

5. Once the DLL has been registered, you should receive a confirmation in the form of a pop up box. This message will list your newly registered DLL file and confirm that is was successfully registered into the registry.

I just bought a mini MSI pc from a friend..can I register it in my name..thanks

You can register the computer in your name here http://service.msicomputer.com/msi_user/productlogin.aspx

Here is the information on the warranty http://www.msimobile.com/warranty/standard_wind.aspx

The computer should have been registered after it was purchased. It has a 1 year warranty from the date of purchase and the warranty is non-transferrable. If your friend registered it in his name then the 1 year warranty is tied to him and cannot be transferred to you. If you re-register the computer in your name you will not qualify for any warranty work. I suggest you leave it in your friend's name(if he is a good friend) and if there is any problems with the computer have him contact MSI for warranty work. If the computer is over a year old then it is past the warranty date anyways(unless he got an extended warranty) so re-registering the computer in your name would allow for e-mail updates from MSI and any recall information for your computer.

My husband is registered with facebook. I would

You should be able to register from the same computer. I have done. I think that it may stop you registering if you are using the same email address as your husband. If that is the case, use a different email address. I f you dont have one, register on msn hotmail or yahoo to get an extra email address to use. Hope this helps. :)

Neeed to register my computer

Register your computer for what?

If it warranty registration, then you need to go to the web site for that computer manufacturer.

If it is Windows you are wanting to register, the Microsoft.com is the place to go (I've never seen a reason to "Register" Windows but some people do it.

If it a program installed on the computer, then go to that program vendor's web site.

If you need additional instructions, please post some DETAILs about your issue, as a 5 word sentence provides no details as to what your problem is and without details, we cannot give you any kind of specific answer.
