Model KC281B Bravetti Slow Cooker - missing feet on bottom. They all fell off

There are 4 rubber feet on bottom and they have all pulled off. Do you have replacements

My friend had the same problem and she called this number 1-888-777-0773 to report it and request a replacement and they were able to help. She did ask however why this has not been recalled and he said it is because she was the first one to report this problem.

Unfortunately your "Bravetti" slow cooker is mfr'd in China - where - like as with a lot of other low quality cheaper brand name items and appliances, it is made as well. This Bravetti line is branded under the Euro-Pro name and the link for their products and services is below:

I'm guessing you bought it online and have no direct store support, so your only option is to contact the Mfr via a listed email addy, or their 800 toll free # listed in your operators manual that came with the slow cooker.

Chances are your slow cooker is now obsolete - as in "discontinued", and was sold through a CLOSEOUT type online store. Many of these same Made in China so-called products today have now been going in that "discontinued" direction over the past 2 years or so, as their country's economy is now facing the same collapsed state - only worse economically - much as with our own country as well.

What is happening there in China present day is that a lot of their so-called tech manufacturing companies are now facing the higher cost & shortages of raw materials, as well as a much higher labor force wage index as related to hourly wages, and thus can't compete anymore inside their own mainland China. So they are having to outsource the labor to even cheaper countries as well. Dog eat dog world right now! Funny huh?

I went through a similar recent problem with a cheaper Made in China 2.4Ghz cordless phone. Olympia was the branded name. Who even knows where it was made in China, as it would be a complete waste of time even trying to track down the company or what is now left of it!

All the re-directed original company did for me was further redirect me to some outsourced C/S dept somewhere on the East Coast, and all they did was send me out 3 more Free replacement phone sets that didn't work either.

The 1st 2.4 Ghz replacement phone's LCD display crapped out shortly after setting it up, and I threw it out after stripping some reusable parts off of it. They sent me out another Free so-call upgraded better model.

That 2nd 2.4Ghz dual handset w/answering machine phone system started having all kinds of bad reception problems - so I complained yet again, and this time they sent me out a dual handset 5.8Ghz phone system (with no answering machine btw) that was even worse! I gutted that one too for usable parts after they said they couldn't do anything more for me, and I decided to check into the 2nd phone to see if I could fix it myself.

What I found out was wrong with it - after taking one handset apart - was that the antenna wire wasn't aligned right on their final inspection. Both handsets were the same way, and after realigning it both handsets worked great.

One handset now has a bad LCD display row for some reason and I found out that that too was a BIG problem with these phones. At least I have 2 handsets that work fairly good and a bunch of spare Ni-Mh batts as well as spare wall power adapters, etc.

All in all - what I was finding out years ago with much of this EL CHEAPO Made in China **** is that the electronics part was getting WORSE and WORSE quality wise - if you could even call it quality to begin with.

My buying Philosophy today - as it was years ago as well - is that if it looks to good to be true "price wise" then it is just junk to begin with, and just steer clear from it. Esp if it's today Made in China!

Their junk is just getting cheaper and cheaper today, and the FIRE risks esp with electronic stuff just isn't worth it. I'm finding that stuff made in CANADA is far better in quality as was my White Westinghouse Fridge which is going on 10+ years now and runs GREAT!!!!

As for your slow cooker - here is my recommendation on it and what you should do.

My 30 year old KMART brand La Cuisine manual 3-position manual switch mode with (2 heat settings) slow cooker is still working just as great today as it was 30 years ago because I come from OLD SCHOOL in that the MANUALLY operated appliance stuff (microwaves included) last far longer for the money invested. My old Emerson brand manual 600 watt microwave lasted me 23 years of flawless operation until the Megatron died one day a few years ago. Not bad at all......

My educated guess on your slow cooker (with those electronic touch pad controls) is that you possibly got water into it somehow, and then the moisture caused the control circuit board to fail. Either that or the Low Voltage XFMR gave out that powers the circuit board. This L-V XFMR is a common problem with not only touch pad type microwaves, but most everything else appliance wise as well.

Sorry I can't be of more help, but with electronic touch pad type appliances I have to have it in hand to (t/s) troubleshoot it as just guessing what it is doesn't cut it anymore.

The manually operated stuff is much easier to (t/s) as there are fewer components and most people are handy with a DVM these days. Hopefully that is.....

I hope you get a manually operated slow cooker next time, as you'll be money ahead for a long long time!!

If you care to comment on my posted reply as to the 800 # part maybe I can get some answers for you as to a replacement slow cooker, as I deal with C/S Dept's all the time.

I called 1-800-5574825 The Rival Company Customer Service Dept. I found my instruction booklet and it had this number. They do not have a replacement part for this item. The customer service person was very polite and said since it was under warranty (under 1 year) she is sending me a brand new slow cooker. Very wasteful since I just need the rubber foot, but at least they are sticking behind their product. I hope this helps someone else.

I have this slow cooker. It uses the same cord that most every cooking appliance uses. (older coffee percolators, deep fryers, popcorn poppers, etc.) You probably already have one sitting around in your house. If not you can pick one up at a hardware store or walmart.

My bravettii slow cooker would not cook baked beans they cooked for 18 hrs total 6 hrs was on high and 12 hrs was on low and the beans are still not fully cooked it never came to a boil is there...

I can't solve your problem but I can sure relate. I am having the same problem with my Bravetti Pro (it's far from Pro - it should be called Bravetti Amateur) I tried cooking a small ham with cut up potatoes recently, and after 11 hours cooking at the medium setting, the potatoes were not cooked. I got this thing as a gift about a year ago, and although I've only used it a few times, it never seems to cook properly. Mine was purchased at Canadian Tire and although I don't have a receipt, I think I'll try to take it back. Good luck with yours!

I need to buy replacement rubber feet for rival slow cooker. I cannot find a web site that sells them.


I found what appears to be an exact replacement rubber foot for the Rival oval crock pot at ACE Hardware. They're called a "Rubber Bumper" and the part number is #405756. Amusingly this was in the "Automotive" drawer in their small parts area, labeled "General Use: Ford". Ha! Anyway, I had two missing rubber feet and after installation I can't tell these replacements are any different than the originals.
