You may have accidently deleted the Message center number.
Go to --> Mssg settings --> text messages --> Service center number. In
case you do not recall your message center number, call your service provider.
Hope this helps.
hi, if you are having trouble sending or recieving text messages then the fisrt thing you need to do is delete all the sent and recieved messages and also drafts due to the fact that if your memory is full this will give you loads of problem sending and recieving text or mms messages so deleting these will then get your messages working again.
If how ever you still cant send or recieve text messages then the chances are that your message center number is wrong or got mest up, what you need to do is contact your service provider and ask them to send you the text message center number settings, they will then tell you the correct message center number and how to change this setting on your phone.
They wont charge for this and it will only take 2 minutes to solve your problem.
When you port a number over from another company then you begin to have
issues receiving texts from that previous company. They can re-port
your number for free if you explain it to them and they talk to the
department that does the number porting, but if you use FlexPay then
they can't "re-port the number". They usually are willing to change your number though. Have the service books resent to the Verizon user. If they are sending pictures, make sure you can receive those from your provider. Try this also: email@example.com
Put your number in where it says phonenumber on the link. You need to have mms multimedia messaging. By default cricket users
that just have text messaging do not get a email addy. The txt msgs are
routed by crickets network.
On every phone there are settings that can stop you sending texts. However all phones should still receive texts even if all the settings were changed. As the text message is directed to you mobile number you should still be receiving?
When you compose your text and select contact does the phone move them to the out/sent box?
Settings to check for sending are your 'message centre number' (your network provider can supply and they are normally different for pay monthly and pay & go) 'Message sent as' should be 'text' (not fax or email etc).
Text problems are common where people change or delete digits from the message centre number by mistake.
If you cannot receive texts i would recommend speaking to your provider for help as it may be your account details at their end? (beyond your control). Hope that helps?
you need to format your phone so that you can receive messages again...input this code *#7370# and then click yes...enter your security code...after that your phone will reboot...it will automatically on..so please wait until the phone open..after that enjoy texting again..hope this will help you
All service providers have a message route number. This number is kind of like a mail room. It sorts out where the mail goes. The number could be incorrect. Either look for it in your old phone and make sure they are the same. Or call your service provider and they should be able to change it right on the spot.
Hope this helps.
