SOURCE: Toro 824 snowblower starts fine but won't keep running and new gas new plug as well cleaned the whole carb

Is there an adjustment screw on the carburetor if there is turn it out a little at a time. This sets the amount of gas going into the carb and lets it run the way it should. I hope you have one as this is the answer to many engine problems. When you say you cleaned the whole carb did you clean the fuel jet. It won't run if the jet is dirty.

I put a mixture of oil gas in my 621 R/621 toro snowblower?

Hi Jerome:
Shouldn't be too bad.
You could disconnect the fuel line at the carb and drain the tank.
Drain and flush the carb. Reconnect the fuel line and fill with fresh gas.
If it won't start, pull the spark plug and clean/dry it with a propane torch, or replace it.
Odds are it will be fine.

Toro Power Clear 418 snowblower wont start after sitting through summer

Check the fuel line to the tank, and see if another one is inside, maybe it fell off, or it's filter is clogged.

I was given a Toro 521 Snowblower. It won't start. I replaced the plug, gas filter, air filter and gas line. Still won't start. Also drained the tank and added new gas

If you replace the carburetor needle seat and bowl gasket it will do the trick. Look up your model snowblower at and you can have them shipped.
Good luck

You will need something stronger than regular, fresh gas to clean the carburetor. May I suggest using some Berryman B-12 ChemTool. It contains strong solvents and cleaners that may enable the carburetor to function. Check the dosage, add a little extra in your machine's gas tank. After doing that though, I would remove the air filter housing and spray some carb/choke cleaner directly into the throat of the carb with the choke open. Then choke it to attempt a start immediately. Continue doing it until it "pops" like it wants to start. If that does not work, then pull the plug and introduce some fresh gas or carb cleaner directly into the engine (1 tsp gas). If you get it running, the Berryman will automatically clean the carb and you might be good to go. Post back if needed.

Trying to find out the distance to gap the coil on a toro s200 snowblower. Replaced points and condensor but still no spark replaced coil and still same. even checked wiring and have good continuity

Are you sure there isn't a shut-off somewhere? Maybe the switch has to be in the "ON" position for there to be spark. If you take a business card and put between the flywheel and the new coil, that is just about the perfect distance.

Toro powerlite snowblower sputters out after 10-15 minutes

I would change the spark plug and be sure to gap it as per your owner's manual. I would also clean or change the air filter. I would also use only high test gas and the oil recommended by the manufacturer. good luck.
