Check for a short. I experienced the same thing in my '86 F-250. Wires were replaced using a larger gauge, and crimped connectors with heat-shrink. Worked great.

What is the color code for the stereo in a 2004 chevy venture

I'm sorry Brando, but I do not know what you are referring to by "color code" for the stereo. Factory stereo? Wiring harness color coding for an aftermarket stereo? If you could provide more information about the problem you are having I'd be glad to help you, Thanks...

I have the jensen cd3720 cd player and it stop playin music and comes back on by it self what can it be that makes the radio do that

Hi there,

Are you losing complete power? Or do you have power, but losing sound only?

Loss of Power:

If you can access the wiring loom of your Jensen, check the RED ignition wire to ensure its secure - this wire is responsible for powering the unit ON (with key ON) and OFF (when key is OFF). A multimeter will be a useful tool to check for power when key is ON.

If the RED wire is fine, then there could be an issue with the power supply on the unit. Check the fuse on the Jensen unit - if ok, then there is a fault in the Jensen unit.

Power, but no sound:

The unit is faulty and will require service (or replacement).

Need to wire JVC model KD-G340 into a 97 Kia Sephia

Do not cut the wires from the car. Instead, call Crutchfield at 888-955-6000 and order the adapter part number 120701003. When you call them, ask for color coding. For JVC, refer to the attached picture. Match the adapter color code with that of JVC. If the adapter color code is the same, then connect ground (black), battery (yellow), and wire from ignition switch (red) securely. Turn on the car and see the radio works. If it works, connect one by one speakers and confirm. Remember, perfect connection gives reliable installation.

Jensen CD3720 car stereo unit face plate LCD display blanks out.

The substrait is probably cracked, that's the circuits inside the pc board of the faceplate. It will cost you too much to try to have it repaired. If you will wait for a few days I may have a face for it as I'm currently trying to fix one that is blowing fuses. I'm not going to spend a whole lot of time on it. I'll let you know.
