Question about Refrigerators
This appliance is a side by side fridge freezer - the upper 2 shelves on the freezer side are not freezing properly. We have switched it off, hoovered all the back etc. Husband thinks its the fan that is the issue, this is not going round to allow the cold air to fully circulate but not sure if we need to replace the fan and the circuit board, any ideas and/or instructions on how to do this? Thanks

SOURCE: need help
With this model it suffers with the evaporator freezing up, try to defrost overnight with the doors open, restart the following day and it should start to work ok within 24hrs. Regards Advisor

The black thing is the compressor. It should run warm but not hot. This usually indicates it's time to clean the condenser coils under the refrigerator. Try using a long soft brush and your vacuum cleaner.

Spray a good quantity of WD-40 on the spindle of the fan motor where it enters the motor itself. This should get the fan working smoothly with no noise. This will probably solve the other problems, as the fan prevents various components from overheating and shutting down.
