Just a shot in the dark here, but check this out to see if we may fix it:

Make sure your images are
1. .jpg, not .jpeg, .tif or any other extension.
2. Not too large, maybe around 5x7 72dpi
3. images are not corrupt. Try to open it on your computer
4. Copy the images to your desktop, reformat your card either with your computer or camera, then load them back on the card and try again.

Maybe one of these will work.
You may have to return because it's defective.

SOURCE: memory card locked

pull the SD card from the the slot and it right side up with the label facing you, there is a short slot on the side with a sliding switch. move it to the other side of the slot and that will unlock the card. (it probably go moved as your were putting the card back into your camera) good luck!

SOURCE: My memory card in my camera keeps saying its protected

Hi there, My name is Rob and I can help you. Do this:

Make sure the camera is off and pull out the SD card. Look on the side of the card. You will see a little switch. One side says locked (or shows a little picture of a locked lock) the other side says unlocked (or shows a little picture of an unlocked lock). Make sure the switch is in the unlocked position and reinsert it properly into the camera.

This will fix your problem. Thanks for coming to FixYa. Let me know if I can be of anymore help. Don't forget to rate my answer a fixya!

How many files can my texet photo frame run at one time

I don't know which model you have but I found some different models. The other problem is I am not sure if your model allows you to just plug in a usb flash drive and run it that way. Some photo frames only let you load pics onto it through the usb. My guess is since it's only showing certain pictures, those pictures were placed into the internal memory. But the models I found range from only 4MB to around 128MB of internal memory. Then some of them also have a Memory Card Slot. So it's hard to say without knowing the model you have. If you have your manual it should give you the specs.

But here's the issue if it's only using it's internal memory. It's not the number of photos, it's the size of the photos. For instance, you can have one photo that is 2MB in size or 2GB in size. So whatever you are putting into the system needs to fit or they cannot play. So if you have a memory card, it should play ALL the photos that can fit on it. If you are using the internal memory it's going to be very limited.

To figure out the size of your pics you can see this info on your computer when you click on a pic or right click. Beyond this, you may need to contact Texet to ask them.

I hope this helps.

How many pictures can I put on a DP700WD Photo Frame ?

Good day,

I looked at the specs of the photo frame and it looks like it does not have an internal memory.
This would mean that you must buy a additional SD Card to put your photos on to display on the frame. The number of photos you can display thus depends on the size of the SD Card.

The number of photos that can fit on a SD card is also dependent on the quality of the photos. A good refference woud be the following:
4Gb SD card can hold about 1100 photos at 8 Megapixel quality.

Hope this clarifies your question.

Kind regards

I put pictures on a san disk sdhc memory card unformatted & formatted the card is 4gb won't play on my kodak sp-dpf56e picture frame why?

I couldn't find very specific information about your picture frame. I did find out it is from a company called Smart Parts and it is not a Kodak frame.

If I had to guess, I would say that the frame is not SDHC compatible. What this means is that it only will work with cards up to 2gb (SD).

I saw a review site (http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews115912.html) that had a lot of reviews about how the frame does not like to read jpgs from the SD cards so this could be the issue if the one above is not.

My recommendation would be to try to use a 2gb card. If that does not work, try loading the pictures onto the frame directly from the computer.

Kodak EasyShare SV811 won't read SD / HD card

Compatible Card-Slots : SD/MMC; xD; CF;Memory Stick; Microdrive; USB

You might have too much data on the SD card. Try with less pics onto the card.

Transferring photos from computer to photo frame

I just called the company because I have one as well. They told me that in the case of my photo frame I cannot transfer them from a pc. I need to buy a usb storage device or other devices to keep the pictures. That needs to be on the photo frame to view pictures. I am not happy with this since they should have told us that it would cost more money. I will never buy Philips again!

How many photos can be stored on a digital photo frame?

Hi,
I generally depends upon the size of the picture that you are storing and the memory card that in the digital frame.
eg 128 MB photo frame ,would store close to 10 pictures at 8 megapixel resolution
