Question about HP OfficeJet 7410 All-In-One InkJet Printer

1 Answer

Will not "Print" copies.

HP 7410 will not "Print" a copy. It seems to scan the copy, feeds the paper find, but the paper comes out blank. No error messages which is the part that is confusing.

Any help would be appreciated

It may be that you are putting the page face down in the paper feeder when it needs to be face up or the other way around.

I cannot get my copier to copy papers. Please refresh my memory on how the 5610 all in one copies. Thanx

We have a 6210 at work, must be similar though.
Make sure you have blank paper in tray, Put piece you want copy of face down on scan glass, close lid, hit copy, it takes a minute to wake up. Or put piece you want copied in auto-feed face up, hit copy, it takes a while to wake up, seems as though it is not working, then it will.

Im trying to get it to print copies only blanks so far

You can make multiple copies by loading them print side up into the upper feeder you'd use to fax, then entering the number of copies on the keypad and hitt the copy button for color or black
or you may lift up the carriage and place a page on the scanner glass, close the carriage select the number of copies and hit the copy button for color or black

Can't work out how to use the multiscan? I press scan and it comes up with multiscan and I put the first piece of paper in but don't seem to get asked for any more sheets and it therefore just scans one...

Anita,

Put the pages in the "multiscan" all at once, not just one sheet at a time. The Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) will feed one sheet of your document at a time untill all of the pages are scanned...

When faxing or scanning the paper stops feeding

Thank you for contacting Fixya Support.
Open the Printer Cover.......... 2. Remove both the Catridges from the Printer............ 3. Move the Catridge Carrier which holds the catridge from right to left and from left to right for about 10 times............ 4. Try to make a copy without the catridges........If this works and it gives a Blank Page out............ 5. Insert both the catridges turn the printer off and turn it on again........... 6. Now it should work fine........
Good Luck......
