Duraflame electric heater not working - Heating & Cooling

It could be the blower.
It could be the thermostat.
It could be the element.

It needs testing by an appliance electrician. If you have a multimeter and the skill, you could do preliminary testing yourself.

There may be an access panel in the front for the light? You might have to have a good look for a panel that can be removed. Make sure its unplugged before getting into it.

wow, unplug and look for a new one. The cracking and popping is usually signs of something cooking the wrong way inside. You might lok to see if something is inside that ought not be inside. A good inspection while it\'s unplugged is also good in checking what is actually broke. 9/10 times it\'s wiser and more cost efficient to just buy a new one. cut the cord off the old cord and properly dispose of it.

Change the light bulb.

Hold the power button until the numbers change

try cleaning off the filter that is on the bottom in the back of the unit. It is a fail safe sensor that in the event the unot overheats it shuts off the heater. Worked for me on mine.
