Random shutdowns could be related to overheating. does the computer get hot? have you blown out the dust from the fans recently?

for malware removeal I suggest Spybot
http://www.safer-networking.org/index2.html

Also make sure you have Antivirus and firewall installed, also look into event viewer for the possible reason for the shutdown

right click on my computer select manage, left side of the window event viewer, look into the logs. Any errors? Red X? marks etc?

Why does my laptop keep freezeing up and shutting down, I did a virus scan and its ok

The infected laptops encounter random shutdown problem until some maintenance activity is being performed on the system.
Two important things that you should do to fix a laptop which keeps shutting down are:
1- Scanning computer to eliminate malwares, spywares and the viruses from your laptop.
2- Repairing and cleaning Windows registry.
The registry errors, however, are the internal errors and can become a cause of system crashes and freezes.
These two tips are found to be very helpful to fix the laptop shutdown problem.

1- Scanning computer to eliminate malwares, spywares and the viruses from your laptop.

2- Repairing and cleaning Windows registry.

These two tips are found to be very helpful to fix the laptop shutdown problem. Almost all the computer users surf internet which could result in viruses attacking your system. Some of these infections are really pesky and cause the machines to shutdown randomly.

The registry errors, however, are the internal errors and can become a cause of system crashes and freezes. The registry keys shall be in good health to keep a system perfect.

When I noticed my pc keeps shutting down everytime, I tested the Intel Software Partner, RegInOut to fix the random shutdown problem with my laptop.

Everytime I start up Windows I an error message.

Well, the reason causing Rundll Error is probably that when you are surfing on line, some Trojan and malware attack your PC and modify the registry for malicious purpose. Though the anti-virus and anti-spyware can remove those Trojans and malware, they cann't repair the destroyed registry. So, Rundll Error happens! Of course, Rundll Error is not only caused by Trojans and malware. According to our research, mis-deleting registry entries, downloading dubious files, hard shutdown PC etc can also cause Rundll Error.
Thru serious test of our expert team, Perfect Optimizer can fix Rundll Error 100%, much higher than other registry products.Because Perfect Optimizer uses a high-performance detection algorithm that will quickly identify missing and invalid references in your Windows registry. Hi,

How long have you been noticing this behaviour ??
Try this out :--

1.Restart your PC and keep tapping F8 until you get advanced menu options.
2.From the list of options, choose safe mode with networking and press enter.
3.Once you boot to the desktop, notice the computer behaviour. If found Ok then launch Internet explorer and try downloading smitfraudfix and malware bytes to remove malwares/spywares as it seems infected.(If it works fine with safe mode)
You can download smitfraudfix from siri.geekstogo.com/

You can download malware bytes from www.malwarebytes.org

Download them and run setup to install.Clean all the malwares/spywares and hope it helps.
If it doesnt, let me know.

Thanks

Random Shutdown

Toshiba's are notorious dust collectors, try blowing back through the air vents and some clever use of the vacuum cleaner on the intakes can bring it back to life. also check the RAM for dust and dirt on the pins and clean as required. USE ANTI-STATIC Precautions!
