Not very easy. Need to get the fuse block mountings released so it can be moved as far out of the way as possible. Then the battery needs to be tilted straight up and down. then it can be removed, but not without scrapping your knuckles a bit. A small coolant hose may also be in the way, along with a main wiring harness.

This is a simple procedure. Just follow these steps:

1. Remove the center post cap or fabric softener dispenser (if equipped) from the agitator by gently prying it off.

2. Under the center post cap locate the air gap plastic cap (if equipped) and remove.

3. Remove the center bolt of the agitator. You will have either a 7/16” hex bolt or a recessed square plastic nut. If you have the square recessed type, use a 3/8” to ½” ratchet adapter to remove.

4. Remove the upper portion of the agitator (called the "auger") by lifting straght up.

5. Remove the lower portion of the agititator by grasping the lower flanges near the bottom of the wash tub and pulling straight up.

This will expose the transmission shaft and anything that may be lodged under the agitator.

Reassemble in the reverse order of the instructions I provided. NOTE: Make sure you only tighten the agitator bolt until it is snug. Do not overtighten as this can break the agitator or restrict its movement.

I assume you're talking about the 2.7L V6. As you're probably aware (having had it apart before), the timing is properly set by aligning the colored links on the primary timing chain with the marks on the crank sprocket and cam sprockets. The only way I know of to see all these at the same time is to remove the timing cover, and you have to tear the engine apart to remove the timing cover.

Where is the location of drain pump

With alot of front loaders, you have to nearly tear apart the entire machine to get to the pump! You're better off having a repairman do the work for you.

Front loader washing machines are difficult to reach (drain pump wise). You have to nearly tear the entire machine apart just to get to them.

Secondary air pump injection check

I think your car must be V6 or V8 engine, engine model 112, or 113, in your car secondary air injection pump is located on top of front, first remove front section of top engine cover then you can see black color electric pump have fitted middle of front end of engine that's the secondary air injection pump check any hose connection leaking or off or broken if not possibly faulty air injection pump, if you get fix the Mercedes diagnose tool to the your car it can activate and check by diagnose CPU, that's the easy way to find if it's faulty or not some time cold be faulty wiring or fuse. is this information helped you?

1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L 6cyl: Radiator fan is CONTANTLY running, even with the engine and everything turned off - it has drained my battery. Have no idea what could be keeping the fan running, please...

there is a solid state fan relay located under the passenger side headlight assembly. There are two ways to get at it. Either you can tear apart the entire front of the vehicle or you can remove the passenger side headlamp assembly and carefully drill a hole about in the middle of the opening and down towards the ground. Look in the hole you drilled you should be able to see the relay. Continue drilling/cutting until you have a hole just large enough to get the old relay out and a new one in. The hole will be covered by the headlamp and has become the preferred method of replacing since they are so common and removing the entire front assembly is so time consuming.

yes. you'll need to disconnect the fill tube that runs from where you put the gas in to the tank. Then undo the bolts that hold the metal straps that hold the tank up in place. lower the tank and disconnect the metal fuel lines from the assembly on top of the tank itself. turn the assembly cover counter-clockwise by tapping on the circular flange with a screwdriver and hammer. remove and replace the entire assembly. sometimes you can buy just the metal or plastic cyliner pump. if so you can save an awful lot of money. the entire assembly which includes the strainer and fuel gauge mechanism can cost $200-$300 , but the pump alone could be as cheap as $40. if you go the later route, take care with the fuel gauge mechanism. it is delicate...

Leak on the front of the Engine

Before replacing the timing cover gasket, crawl underneath the truck and spray everything with brake parts cleaner, then wipe with rags until dry & clean. Start the truck, then crawl under the front of the truck, using a flashlight to spot leaks. Chances are the leak is the seal between the vacuum pump and power steering pump. If this is the case, contact Pete Gould at He can sell you an uprated seal kit, or provide you with a totally remanned vacuum pump reasonably. The vacuum pump runs about $375, replacing front cover gasket is about $1100. Hope this helps

Changing Spark Plugs and Coil on plug

first of all if this is like the expedition because the plugs are way down in the engine on those and you have to remove the fuel injecter rail and yes there is a front and rear bolt attaching this on because there is no spark plug wires only the coil packs which is big plugs right next to the fuel injecter that has a small wire to it it is a very funny looking boot be sure not to damage these things because they are about $12 to $15 a piece go to auto zone and be sure to put double platium plugs back in and you will be good and ask them for a diagram on where the plugs are located
