Jenn air dishwasher model JDB3610AWX has no power at the control board please help

Hello,
Their are a couple possiblities that could be causing that;
1) the connections where the house wiring connects to the dishwasher in of the junction box has burnt, the circuit breaker will very likely be on but the bad/burnt connection wont send power to control.

2) one or both of the door switches on the latch asm. are bad,to check those use a meter set to a low ohms setting and check for ZERO ohms when the door is closed,to check those TURN OFF CIRCUIT BREAKER remove wires from switch(s) and place one meter lead on each terminal

I hope this will help you to figure out why your dishwasher won't come on,
Gene

Dishwasher stops mid cycle

Hi,

Do the foll. things:

1)Check if there is water on the bottom pan. Remove the panel down on the backside of the machine and look. If it's water there, wipe it well up with a towel or so. 2)if ur dishwasher doesn't starts then: First, check the usual suspects: Make sure the circuit breaker isn’t tripped and that the wires at dishwasher’s power junction box aren’t burnt. If all that checks out, then go right to the control panel area.
Asko dishwashers have had problems with the wiring in the control panel area burning or melting– very messy. While your problem may not be as dramatic as that, the problem may still be visible. You may find burnt or discolored wire terminals or the spades on the start button switch may be burnt– anything burnt or discolored has to be replaced. You can buy any replacement parts you need right here.

Goodluck,

Is there a reset switch? Power won't turn on.

no there are no resets on this d/w. open the control box door, ck. the fuse's inside on the trans. and on the control board. if any are burnt replace, you need to find out where you are losing your voltage,by using a meter

Dishwasher is not working now

Ok you need to put white vinegar in the dishwasher to kill the foam. You also need to disconnect the unit take it outside and tip it right back so the water can flow out. if it still wont go then you've burnt something out eg the flood switch or RFI module where the power cord goes inside the machine cheers

Door switch

youd have to open the control panel and OHM out the switch with a mater to ck if it functions properly, however upon open panel its sometimes obvious that a switch would need replacing( for instance sometimes they're real corroded and dont switch on/off. sometimes they're physically burnt up and melted.
