Question about YouTube Videos
There is no sound when a yourtube video plays.
Step 1:it could be one of 2 things. either its youtube or you.
Step 2:YOUTUBE CHECK: go onto a video and scroll over the icon on the video that is next to the play button. scroll over it and you will see a tab that you can move for sound. if that doesnt work you can try this other way.
Step 3:COMPUTER CHECK: first make sure you have some sort of a speaker for sound to come out of. ok. now, check to see if they are plugged in. if they are and are still not working go to the lower right hand corner of your computer screen click the tiny button that looks like a megaphone you can change the volume now. HOPE THIS HELPS!

SOURCE: Choppy Youtube videos
well when you see the red line going across the playing field, that means its dowloading the video. if the time goes over that it pauses to load more of the video.

If "your browser sent a request that this server could not understand"
and "size of request header field exceeds server limit", your request
is a bad or oversized cookie. (The same thing is true for "Error 400").
For some very strange reason, it seems 9 of
10 Bad Request messages implicate Firefox.
Simply delete your "Cookies" and everything
will be okay. Don't worry about erasing them;
nothing bad will happen. You won't lose your
internet browser's "Bookmarks" or "Favorites".
The worst thing that could happen is you will
be asked to retype your username/password
when you return to YouTube and some other
websites -- that's all.
As you're dumping your cookies, you should
also erase all your "Temporary Internet Files"
and "History". This will render your computer
totally "fresh" in YouTube's eyes. It would be
best if you shutdown / reboot after doing this:
Internet Explorer 6:
> Tools > Internet Options
> Delete Cookies > OK
> Delete Files > OK
> Clear History > Yes
Internet Explorer 7:
> Tools > Internet Options > Delete...
> Delete files > Yes
> Delete cookies > OK
> Delete history > OK
> Close (browsing history window)

Check to see that your flash player is up to date. If so, make sure there aren't any software changes on your computer. there are times when an update to a browser could affect a required plugin, or even cases where installing additional software could affect how a browser operates...
