The charger that arrived with the unit should fit and work as you'd expect. I would first try charging with another lead as this is likely to be the first item to go wrong. A lot of these devices come with a separate USB insert style plug. Again I would check this is not the cause of your issue. The more links in the cnnection chain the more opportunity there is for something not to function as it should. If you are able to check these things prior to going back to place of purchase you will save yourself time when they go through the fault finding exercise. There is an outside chance the pin configuration is slightly off so I would try to hold the connection in place to see if it begins to charge. There are occasions where the fitting is just slightly out and the lead is not being held in place maintaining the connection. I would suggest though not spending any money on trying these different options as your unlikely to get any money back from the manufacturer by way of compensation for the items you bought to test. I hope that all helps you.

Trouble charging a Digland 10.1" tablet

Did the charger that you are using come with the Tablets? Many 5 volt chargers can only output a 0.5 to 1amp current, while a Tablet typically needs 2 to 2.5 amps charging current. So, if you're using a charger from some other device, then it's almost certain that it cannot provide a sufficient current for the Tablet, and the charger overloads, shuts down cools off, turns on again, overloads again, shuts down etc repeatedly - giving the exact symptom you are reporting.

Even if the charger did come with the Tablet, some of the Chinese ones are of very poor quality and cannot provide reliable service. A replacement charger rated to suit your Tablet (there should be something in the specifications that came with the Tablet listing the requirements for the charger) should solve your problem {:o)

Why won't my table charge?

Will the charger fit any other device that you have? If so try to charge some other device. It appears that there are only two possible problems. 1 The charger is bad.- 2 The tablet is bad.
Read your manual regarding charging and how long the first charge should take.

P5113 not charging properly

There are a couple of common problems that can cause bad charging:
  1. Bad charging cable - try a new cable
  2. Bad charger - try a new charger, or try plugging it into a PC USB port overnight with the PC turned on
  3. Charger is not the right charger for your tablet - Samsung devices are known for being picky about what charger you use. If you don't use the original charger that came with the device, or a Samsung charger made for your specific tablet, you will have trouble.
  4. A bad/broken charging port on the tablet - this is not something you can fix yourself. You would likely have to return it to Samsung for repair, or find a local repair shop.

My pandigital tablet dont wanna charge

USB Connections
All tablets connect to your computer using a USB cable.
Once connected, the device should charge as long as the computer recognizes it.
Look for manufacturer-specific software to launch once you plug your tablet into your computer; if this software fails to launch, it's likely that your computer hasn't detected the device and won't charge it.
Try a second USB cable, if available, or plug the USB cable into a different port.
If the device doesn't charge in either port, replace the USB cable.

AC Adapters
Some tablets are sold with an accompanying AC power adapter, though these accessories are often optional.
Try plugging your tablet into its AC power connector in the event that its USB cable isn't functioning.
Also check different wall outlets in case the outlet you are plugging your tablet into is defective.
If the device fails to charge in different outlets, the AC adapter may be faulty.

Reboot Like any device with an operating system a computer, a mobile phone or an MP3 player tablet computers can freeze from time to time.
When a computer freezes, you can reboot or restart it to get the operating system working properly again.
This is true of tablets too, but rebooting these systems can be a little tricky.
Check the manufacturer's website for specific instructions to restart your system.
Putting the tablet to sleep and waking it up doesn't clear its memory look instead for the buttons for a "reset," which are different for every brand.
This may clear up any recent malfunctions, like freezing apps or charging issues.

Restore

Just like a computer, tablets sometimes need to be restored to their original state to overcome technical issues like charging problems.
Again, the process of restoring your tablet to its factory default differs from model to model and from brand to brand.
Check the manual or the manufacturer's website for specific instructions, but as a general rule: plug the tablet into your computer using the provided USB cable.
Wait for the appropriate software to load and then look for a "Restore" option.
Follow the onscreen prompts to restore the device.
