SOURCE: hi have problem with canadian spa

OHS, OH, or SPA TEMP LMT Message There is an "Over Heated Spa" (OHS or OH) Water Condition.

One of the Water Temp Sensors has detected 110°F (43.3°C) Incoming Water Temp and Spa Functions are Disabled. System will Auto Reset when Water Temp is below 108°F (42.2°C). Check for Extended Pump Operation or High Ambient Temp, or contact your Dealer or Service Organization.

Spa Water Cool Down
• In order for the Spa Water Overheat Error Message to Automatically Reset and Clear, the Spa Water Must Cool to below 108°F (42.2°C).
• Check the Topside Panel Display to see if the "OHS", "OH", or "SPA TEMP LMT" Spa Water Overheat Error Message has Cleared. If the Error Message has Not Cleared, the Spa Water is still too Hot to Continue Testing.
• Either Wait for the Spa Water to Cool Below 108°F (42.2°C), or Exit Now and Retest at a Later time.

Understand that this information isbeing provided as-is and without warranty or guarantee. As with allelectrical components and devices, all work should be performed by a licensedspa or pool technician. Serious injury or death can occur if a component isimproperly repaired or installed. This soundslike it could be an issue with the board but there is some testing that needsto be done to determine the actual cause. A spa technician will be required tocome out and verify the wiring to the pump and then typically start testingvoltages off of the board as the unit switches between the relays that controlthe speeds on the pump. You can find answers to common spa orbath problems online at http://www.balboadirect.com/support.aspx Hope that helps!

Your problem is going to be in the circuit board in the spa control box under the skirt.
You have a bad relay.

Where do I find the model number of the Balboa Duplex and where is the heater located?

Hi, on Balboa control systems there will be a metal heater tube either at the bottom or the back of the control box, this tube will obviously join your spas pipework at either end. The part number will be located in the middle of the tube, normally on a silver or white sticker, if you send me a picture of your control box or the heater tube i can direct you to the exact replacement. contact me on our website contact page, www.hottubpartsuperstore.co.uk

kind regards,

Mick

How to I increase the temperature to 101 on the drreammaker spa fantasy model?

This may be a little late as you may have already found the answer. But most "Fantasy" spas have "Balboa" control system. They are either a heat control knob, or Up/Down arrows on the spa side control system.
If you have the know & it is all the way turned to max position, and still not hot enough, then you may well have a faulty "Temperature Sensor". Get a replacement from your local DreamMaker dealership. Easy to replace.

I have a problem when I turn on my spa the control plannel just shows (= = = )and nothing will work dose any one have any ideas what it could be

Balboa Control Packs -
(---) = Unknown water temperature.

Spa Builders Control Pack -
(---) = "Watchdog". Water temperature has reached 118?F. Entire system is disabled. Contact qualified service technician.

This error code is related to sensor malfunction or failure.
Disconnect and reconnect sensors (while system is disconnected from electrical supply), if that does not help start by replacing the Temperature or Hi Limit sensors.

If you accidentally locked your control

My balboa spa says sl and isn't heating up

SLP or SL Message

If the SLP or SL Message is Alternating with the Water Temperature on the Display, the Spa is Operating in the Sleep Heating Mode.

If the SLP or SL Message is ON Solid (Not Flashing) on the Display, the Spa is Operating in the Sleep Heating Mode, but there is No current water temperature because the Spa is between Filter Cycles.

I just bought a used balboa hot tub and have no expertise. Does the pump kick in automatically even when you turn it off it will turn back on instantly? Is that normal? If it is not normal what could be...

This does not sound normal, but in order to better diagnose this I need to know exactly what model of controls your spa has. This is easily found on a label on top of the control box in the spa cabinet. If the label is missing, then remove the control box cover and look at the inside of the cover for the schematic, should be a model number on it.
