With most cameras the date and time (and a lot more) are automatically stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

Microsoft Picture It! Photo version 7 Vista

From researching this it is caused by having too much ram .
There was a patch called pi19299.exe on microsoft that fixed this bug but it seems to not be supported anymore on microsoft as it was for windows xp and whether it works on vista is not a certainty .

How can i print date samp in photoz..without using 4x6 photo in my canon poer shot 100s camera..

you can do that if you're doing direct printing (camera to printer) using the caera transfer settings, or if you want to save them to your omputer, you need to download the photos using the EOS utility (comes with the camera) and add the [date & time] stamp from the software settings

Date and timestamps

Is there a way to select a group of pictures on the camera and give them all the same date and/or time stamp?
No
Each JPG will show the date on which it was taken, but not on the photo, it will show it on your computer under the column "date picture taken"

Pictures not transferred to the computer

The cause and solution may include one of the following: The AC adapter or USB cable is not securely connected. Check the connections, and then try transferring pictures again. Kodak EasyShare software is not installed. Install the software. There are too many programs running on the computer. Close all software programs and try transferring pictures again. The camera was removed from the dock during picture transfer. Replace the camera on the dock, and press the Transfer button. The Transfer button was not pressed. Press the Transfer button.
