Question about Samsung NC10-14GW PC Notebook
I been charging my laptop 24/7 now for the first time i smell something burning and it turns out to be the charger in the charger port. i once saw sparks coming from the charger port but this is the first time i smell that burning scent. now sometimes i smell that scent and sometimes not so should i get it checked out
Laptops (esp. older ones) should never be left plugged in 24/7. You need to stop using the charger (the problem is only in the charger and NOT the laptop?) and replace it. The burning smell is something overheating which can lead to a fire and sparks are rarely a good sign.
I'd cut the cord on the charger, so it can't be used again and replace it.
