Green house heater 150,000 btu, changed tanks and supplier, replaced plugged pilot light, new thermostat. Heater comes on but makes horrible howling noise when burners light, experienced a small explosion...

The first thing I would do is have gas pressure checked, check pressure on the outlet side of regulator. Your gas supplier should do this for you for free or for minimum charge. It sounds to me like you have high pressure problem. I hope this helps. Thanks

150,000 BTU propane Reddy Heater shuts off after ignition

Is there a frost line on your LP tank, if so you may need to replace the tank with a larger tank or refill your tank. This can happen if the tank your using is too low or too small (use 100 lb tank or greater). If there is no frost line it may be an issue with the thermocouple. The manufacturer offers a service manual and owner's manuals on there site. This should assist you... Thank you

Laars lite 2 Spark egnighter will not spark

turn power off first. I would disconnect igniter wire which will be a thick orange wire that comes off of ignition module if it is spark. once you have that the end will look like a spark plug wire take shield away from metal then hold orange wire in hand close but not touching metal turn power on and it will take a couple of minutes before it should start sparking. If you don't see a spark then it is most likely the ignition module. There should be a red light on ignition module that will blink to tell you what the failure is if is is a newer on. When you turn power on to laars light 2 the inducer motor should come on then a pressure switch should send 24volt to gas valve for pilot to lite. Can you smell gas at all when laars should be igniting. Dayton mod#3e219b gas heater

air compressor output should be 3.5 psi. to the fuel nozzle. the cowlings purpose is to channel the air-fan output through the rear vanes of the combustion chamber. if these openings are restricted then air can't get into the chamber. check to see that the fan blades aren't jammed against the cowling. if they won't spin then you won't get any air through the unit.
