No sound from internal speakers after using headphones

The headphone jack has a switch in it to disable the speakers when the headphones are plugged in. This switch has stopped functionong. Look in the jack eith a magnafying glass to see if there may be lint or some other object holding the switch open when the headphones are not plugged in. Otherwise it's time to replace the jack.

Well i have a numark mixtrack with a dj-io soundcard. but i use a regular computer and not a laptop. my thing is i've seen these videos on youtube to try to connect it but it doesnt help. i want to be able...

if your desktop has two audio outputs (one for headphones and the other one to connect the speakers - both green), then you dont need dj io (or a second sound crad on the side), just go to config and chose the sound card settings to double inputs and in outputs chose both speakers and headphones' depending on what software you are using.

My speakers wont work suddenly unless I am using my headphones

Make sure in the volume mixer that it is using the right sound device. You most likely have it set to the wrong device output. When you plugged in the headphones in kinda automatically switches, but to use the speakers again you have to do it manually. Just hook up a cheap av receiver to your computer and use this headphone input instead. a 100$ 5.1 av receiver beats any pc speaker system.

Sony Vaio PCG-K45. My speakers are not working

May be yor codec (decoding system) is missed. Try different player, also if using Klitecodecks reset settings. Find sound program and turn off 5.1 or 7.1 sound and choose 2 speakers.

My left speaker on my gateway ML3706 laptop just stoped working

If you get sound from both sides of the headphones when you plug it into the same jack the speakers normally plug into all you need to do is replace the speakers. If you mean you plug the headphones into the cd drive that's nothing special. You could have a bad sound card, bad connection in the jack, or bad speakers.

Toshia Satelite sound skips when playing through speakers

From what I can tell your machine uses a Realtek sound device. Download and reinstall this driver to see if it fixes your problem.

No sound from 5.1 surround system

If you're connecting a "5.1 surround system" to a single jack that you plug your headphones into, it's not going to work. Headphone jack is Stereo, 2 speakers. You need at least 3 input jacks for 5.1, plus one for the subwoofer. If you don't have these, you'll have to buy an add-on card.
