Question about Toshiba SD-330E DVD Player

Open Question

Toshiba SD-310V dvd player

All the power show that the player is on and it opens and closes, I can hear the player spining, but I can't get connection to the TV and the DVD player I have 6 dvd players and all of them work but this one I can't seem to get it to communicate to the TV I have new plugs and put the white, yellow and red into place just like the other players I have but it is not working? Help please.

I presume that you've selected the correct inputs on the TV? Go for HDMI if you have it on your TV. If not use the yellow (composite) and ensure you have nothing in the S-Video (Toshs don't like using composite and S-video at the same time).

Press Open button on your remote control to open the drive tray
and remove any disc
Press 2403960
Press Enter button on your remote control
Press 9 for multi-region playback
Press Open button on your remote control to close the drive tray
Power OFF the DVD player
Power ON the DVD player

Hi friend. Try this:
Press the power button on the Toshiba DVD player remote. Press the "Open/Close" button to eject the disc tray. Remove any disc that might be on the tray before proceeding.
Press the following keys on the remote in this order: 2,4,0,3,9,6,0.
Press the "9" key on the remote.
Press the "Open/Close" button to close the disc tray. Press the power button to turn the Toshiba DVD player on.

Hope it works.

Press the Enter button on your remote control to change the region to 1 for

I have got sound but no picture on my toshiba dvd player,model number:sd-308kb,have tried various new scart leads,all to no avail,can you help,thanks,andy.


My Toshiba sd-310v required a S-video cable and
input programming at the TV to acquire a video signal. Hope this helps.

i think the motor is bad since its nt spining u can change the motor
