yes it is a wireless mouse p/n 831843-0000 LZ 719AU, yes it's an acer lcd monitor and it runs vista. I went into the control panel to the mose slowed it down to see if that help but it didn't. It has done this since I bought it I should have taken it back but didn't . Works great except for that. I do have software but have bought so many different logitech mose I have no idea which software goes with this one.

The easy way to do is to go to logitechs website and download the correct drivers. Model number is on the bottom of the mouse.

You could try relocating your transmitter attatched to the computer as well and see if that makes a difference.

each cd should tell you which mouse it belongs to

if you can find it i would run the setup again.

if not you'll need to download those drivers again

Jumping cursors and letters

Step 1:
If you are a frequent user of a notebook or netbook computer, then you likely use a touchpad to navigate your computer's on-screen cursor. However, there are a number of issues that can cause your cursor to seem jumpy or unresponsive. To find what is causing these issues, you can troubleshoot both your hardware and your operating system and find a solution to the problem.

Turn your computer off and then clean your touchpad. Dampen a clean cloth with some isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol and then pat the pad dry with a paper towel. Even a small stain or sticky spot can throw off your touchpad's sensitivity, so it is vital that the pad remain clean of all extraneous substances. Re-calibrate your touchpad. Go to the hardware section of the "Mouse" utility (in the Control Panel) and find the device settings. There should be an "Advanced Settings" or "Calibration" utility under this tab. Follow the prompts to calibrate your touchpad for maximum efficiency. Use manual troubleshooting wizard. If you suspect that your computer's software or drivers are at fault, run the manual troubleshooting wizard. Go to the "Mouse" utility (in the Control Panel) and then go to the "Hardware" tab. Select your touchpad and then click on the "Troubleshoot..." button. Follow the prompts to troubleshoot software issues that could make your touchpad jumpy. Reduce cursor speed. In the "Mouse" utility, go to "Pointer options" and reduce the speed. This will prevent the cursor from going too fast when you move your finger on the touchpad, which could be the source of the "jumpy" effect.

My mouse does not works properly/ it works slow, cursor makes little jumps, movement not smooth. Laptop samsung R40

Are you using it on a mousepad? If not, that is probably why you are getting jumpy and erratic movement. Put a mousepad underneath the mouse and you should see the cursor movement improve.

You can also adjust the mouse properties such as speed and control by going into the Control Panel and opening the Mouse applet.

Do you have the correct Dynex driver installed? If not, go to the Dynex website and download the driver for your mouse. Having the wrong driver (or a generic driver) can make a difference in performance sometimes.

Hope one (or all) of those solutions helps!

It is jumpy! It's very hard to point it to anything with any accuracy, as it jumps about, and isn't smooth.

All you need to do to fix this problem is get a mouse mat, or short term just a bit of paper. If the desk or table that you are using the mouse on is in any way shiny then the laser will reflect and will be jumpy

After synchronizing connecting buttons, take off battery, look for a tiny thin button that protrudes in one of the sides where the receiver is placed in mouse, hold it depressed and then install a new and fresh battery releasing simultaneously said button. Hope you solve your problem. Good luck!!!Chawah.
