Question about Zoom ComStar 56K 2818 Modem
I'm trying to connect to my office VPN using "AT&T Global Network Client" and I'm getting below error:
The connection timed out waiting for the VPN server to respond. This can occur if your computer is behind a firewall that does not permit UDP or IPSec traffic. Contact your local network administrator for assistance. (229)
I'm connecting my Laptop to the Router which is connected to the comcast cable modem. When I connect my laptop directly to the cable modem I am able to get the VPN connection, so, obviously my Router is blocking some traffic.
I've tried opening up all kinds of ports and protocols but it just won't work.
I would really appreciate if any one can shed some light on this for me.
I am having a similar problem
The VPN connects thru LAN cable but not thru wireless. At the same time all the websites connect thru cable and wireless equally well.
I use AT&T VPN client . My router is comstar Wireless N router .
Please let me know if there is any thing I can do .
Toronto , ON Canada
As you told me that all the ports are open so in that case you can get in touch with your ISP and ask them to enable IPPASSTHROUGH on your office laptop.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
