Question about Garmin StreetPilot c550 GPS Receiver
I took apart the unit to find the Lithium battery. However I saw nothing that looked like a battery. There was this long tube like piece that went from both ends of the speakers. this tube like thing is screwed down. is this the battery? I thought that these batteries were metal batteries. If not can anyone show what the battery looks like for this unit. Normally I don't get extended service plans & since I didn't get one I'm reall ********** about it
Thank you for your help in advance
I got back into my vehicle today to go get my mom at the airport. I plugged the unit In & It worked. I suspect that It is the battery. After I shut off the engine I got the message that says do you want to still operate on battery power. I clicked ok but it said low battery. So now I have it charging by using my portable air compressor. So hopefully It doesn't die on me for at least another few years or if It does then It's time to upgrade to the Nuvii
Thanks for the people that replied to my question.
