Change your belt as it is most likely broken, it takes a standard 7,8,9 belt in a green package. Also, it is very important that you clean the foam filters in that unit at least once a month. Dirty intake filters will decrease your suction wich can lead to clogging.

No suction

If you have a bag-type vacuum with a clean bag, check the nozzle, hoses and roller to make sure they're not blocked. (If you have a bagless, make sure the canister is empty.) Also look for other air filters built into the vacuum. In addition to the bag, my vacuum has 2 filters. If a filter gets clogged, suction will go down and the motor will over-heat.

My Miele S3141 canister began acting strange this morning. No I took off the hose and checked for blockage, (nothing). Now I can't get the hose back on the canister. It just slips ar

see this causes and fix it. God bless you
Air filter:
If the vacuum cleaner won't pick up dirt and has no suction the air filter might be clogged. Remove the filter and either clean or replace it as needed.
Exhaust Filter If the vacuum cleaner won't pick up and has no suction the exhaust filter might be clogged. Remove and clean the filter, replace it if its torn or damaged.

Vacuum Hose If the vacuum cleaner won't pick up and has no suction the vacuum hose might be clogged. Remove the hose from the vacuum cleaner, stretch it out straight, shine a bright flashlight in one end and try to see light through it. If no light can be seen, use something to run through the hose and free up the obstruction.
Vacuum Bag If the vacuum cleaner won't pick up and has no suction the vacuum bag might be full. Clean or replace the bag as recommended by the manufacturer.

Dust Cup AssemblyIf the vacuum cleaner won't pick up and has no suction the dust cup assembly might not be installed tightly, or it might be cracked or broken. The dust cup must seal tightly in order to produce the right amount of suction. If it is cracked or broken, replace it. Most glues and adhesives will not successfully seal the crack.
Blower Wheel If the vacuum cleaner won't pick up and there is no suction, the blower wheel might be jammed or broken. Check the blower wheel to be certain it turns freely. If it doesn't, check to see if there is anything rubbing against it. If not, but it's hard to turn, the motor is most likely the problem.

Doesn't pick up

This could be a few reasons. Check and make sure your bag is not full of dirt, a full bag will make your vacuum's suction worse. Next check for clogs of dirt and debris. Check the nozzle and brushroll too. If you find no clogs and the brushroll and belt look good, it may be your vacuum fan is damaged and needs to be replaced.

Suction cuts out, no clogs found in any of the inlets. It's an LG V200R, 4 months old. Returned it to LG twice and it still happens after a couple of uses. Is this a design flaw in the vacuum? Do you...

I bought the lg kompressor 2 mo ago. Made hissing sound and no suction to canister, but the hose had good suction. The inlet was clear, but there was a clog up inside the vacuum between the inlet at the beater bar and the lower hole that empties into the canister(very hard to find). Use a wire hanger to clear it out. just keep jamming it up there and it will clear eventually. There is a clog somewhere, you just have to find it.

I cleaned all the filters and it doesn't have any suction

Check the hoses for a clog. Sometimes the hoses themselves will get clogged and cut off suction -- other times it happens between the beater brush and the hose (within the cleaning head itself). If this is the case, when you turn on the vacuum it will make a higher pitch sound than normal, and sound like it is working really hard, even thought there is no suction. If you can't reach the clog, but you have found it in the hose, you can usually use a coat hanger to either loosen it up or remove it completely from the hose. If this does not work, you can try loosening the clog with another vacuum. Just use the second vacuum to reverse the normal air-flow through the hose ... sometimes this will loosen it up and get your equipment to work.

Vacuum not picking up

Check the filters. If you have a foam filter, they clog quickly. Wash it and dry it completely before you use it.
