Question about MPC Computers TransPort GX3 Notebook

I was listening to my media player earlier today and all of a sudden the sound went out. I tried everything from checking the mute buttons and checking the volume panel. What else do I need to do?

Lost sound on tv suddenly

Just check whether the mute button on remote is jammed. Then if that is ok, check whether you can listen to the sound on a Head Phone connected to the TV. Even if it works, the TV needs attention by a qualified service technician.

No Visual; Only Audio

No real specific suggestion but it's likely serious. Very likely in the hi-voltage section and quite possibly the flyback transformer; too expensive to bother with if so.

Most likely the video chip inside has gone bad. Best bet would be to contact Creative via their support number. I wish you the best of luck.

Try to reset it. Press the back button (<-) and the up button ( above the Enter key) simultaneously. If this doesnt work, continue to press the back button with other directional buttons to see if this gives you a result.

It sounds like either an LCD screen failure or a motherboard failure. Have you tried the reset button yet? What happens? Does it reset?

My sound stopped working!

Does seem really odd I must say. All I can suggest for that is to update to the latest firmware version if you haven't already: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/Default.aspx?CatID=1376 Otherwise try a format. The e200 series does seem to become buggy after a while apparently. I had the corrupt file problem where some of the file names got messed up and you couldn't play the file. Had to format then, lost everything and had to rebuild from scratch.
