The technically correct way to reset a BB is to remove the battery and reinsert after 5 minutes. Unfortunately the only way to recover this error is to reinstall all of the software. To run Application Loader on your computer, follow these steps:

Click ApplicationLoader if the pop-up window does not appear.
Click Update Now.
Note: (This option only appears if new device software is available).
