You need to get the key to connect to her router, hopefully someone wrote it down when they set the router up and taped it to the bottom of the router. If not you need to log into the router and go to the wireless setup page then click on the wireless security tab, the password should be listed right below where it says wep encryption.
You should be able to search for the default login information to the router on the internet, but if some changed the password when they set it up you will have to hard reset the router and set it back up and then reconnect all your wireless devices to use the new password you created when setting it up again.

Hi there,
By reset I am assuming that you mean you've pressed the reset button on the back of the router for 30 seconds to return it to manufacturer's state?
If this is so, and you're still getting the same problem, You need a new router.
Sorry for the bad news, but routers only last for so long. ESPECIALLY D-link.

My aunts router is giving lights for all icons except her internet (little earth icon) so its not using her modem to give internet her connection via modem to computer work but not to wireless

First go to a computer that you know has conectivity.
In your browser type // and hit enter. Here you should be able to manage the router. You need to make sure the wifi is enabled.
The easy way, is to run the setup CD. While normally I hate these things, well, normally I hate all things Belkin, they actually have a VERY nice assisted setup CD. People with absolutely no computer skills can manage to set up a router with their setup CD.
Belkin Routers will have wifi disabled out of the box to encourage you to use the setup CD. You have to do one of the things above.

My aunt plugged the d-link adaptor(110v) to a 220v outlet.. and after that it didn't seem to turn on.. any advice how to solve this problem?

Your aunt likely fried the router as it was not built for such a high voltage. You best bet is to return the router and get it exchange for a new one, if it's still in warranty. If not, then you may need to buy a new router.

Can't access my encryption key anymore

You can try accessing the router setup page or the user interface of it byu typing the on the address bar of the computer that is wired to the router and working to the internet, of you can also call linksys tech support so you don't need to reset the router because they can tell you how to change and check all the settings on your router this is the number 800-3267114, but if you want to reset the router just press and hold the reset button of it for 10 seconds,,,,

Hope that helps.......
