I'm not sure what you operating system is but I'd suggest you go to your Control Panel and look for Touch pad and look at the settings there, If there's no Touchpad listed have a look in the Mouse settings.
yeah you have touch sensitivity set to high in the touch pad and your wrist is hitting the touch pad. go your touch pad settings in the control panel and turn it down til when your wrist brushes it, it doesn't move the mouse.
Hello, Windows hides rarely used icons. If your does, then the task bar shows a left pointing arrow < . Click it and look for the icone for touchpad.
If you cant find that icon, In WINDOWS XP 1. Start 2. Contol Panel 3. Right click the Mouse icon. 4. Under the Touchpad ON/OFF thumbnail, put a check mark in the disable option. 5. Use the same procedure to enable touchpad
I used to get this problem. It is VERY annoying as you must know. try pushing the windows icon button in the top right corner of your keyboard(thats where it is on my keyboard)then use your arrow keys to scroll up to control panel, select mouse by using arrow keys and then use the tab and arrow keys to open the mouse keypad pagetab and push enable and enter key to turn it on.
IF WHEN YOU DO THAT AND your in the touchpad properties but there is no 'enable' and it says no hardware detected, then go into the same mouse window from the control panel and go to the hardware tab and either try to update driver or use the trouble shoot button.
