Machine starts to fill with water and then stops filling and motor stops after 35-45 seconds. All the lights on the panel remain on and no error messages appear. Sometimes it doesn't even start the cycle at all. All you hear is a humming noise. There is no water filling at this point. The red lights are on but no water or aggitation.
I checked the hot and cold water supply and there are no clogs at either end of the hose. Screens are clean. Is it possible that there could be a clog somewhere else?. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

there are a lot of questions of a simular nature check the diaphram switch this controls how much water is taken in and wont progress until the switch says so what you dont say is if the machine keeps filling or stops filling and wont progress
There is a water pressure switch that operates when the required water fills in the tub. this pressure switch in your machine is possibly faulty. In ur case the water keeps filling then it detects an error and stops that's when the lights start flashing. the pressure switch fails to detect the amount of water in the drum and so the machine doesn't move on to the next cycle
Hi, could be faulty timer, faulty water level switch, faulty start capacitor for motor, or faulty motor. always put clothes in machine before starting. you can empty machine by lowering drain hose to flow level.
Looks like part 8571359 the control electronics is out and guess what? Can only get through Sears and Whirlpool. This is why you cant get an error code, it isnt working well enough to choke one out. You know this is hard to say but a Oasis has its issues but at least it is still on market. I would if hubby is handy to find a used machine and pull the part. It is a chance but cheaper than 500 bucks to have a tech come out and fix.
Basically its saying that the motor is pulling very high amperes. This could signify a faulty motor, motor controller, or thermal protector, or there could be a mechanical bind in the transmission. i would use a amprobe and check to see how much power is being pulled when the machine starts, and as it is operating if it is 5.55 amps or greater and higher than 20 amps on motor start surge, than the motor controller is correct in saying there is a problem.

the hose may still be filled from last cycle.
try to put machine in final spin mode where all water from previous wash will be spun out the drain hose. once a siphon is started it can only be stopped by introducing air into the drain hose.
BELIEVE IT OR NOT, THOSE TWO ITEMS THAT WERE REPLACED SHOULD HAVE RECTIFIED THE PROBLEM.ONE NEEDS TO KNOW IF THE BOARD THAT IT WAS TESTED WAS IN EFFECT A NEW ONE OR NOT. IF IT WAS I WOULD SUGGEST DISCONNECTING ONE HEATER WIRE (IF HEATER IS USED) THEN PULLING THE PR.SWITCH PIPE OFF FROM THE TUB AND SUCKING A VACUME ON THE PIPE. THIS WILL INDICATE A LOW LEVEL CONDITION AND ASK FOR MORE WATER.IF FILLING TIME IS THEN RUNS FOR A LONGER PERIOD, THEN THE PROBLEM IS WITH A DEFECTIVE PR.SWITCH.
HOPE I HELPED?
Jmars, under the consol there is two pressure switches. One controls the fill and the other is back-up incase the other fails. It sounds like your water pressure switch is tripping too soon. Try putting the washer into a self test mode by pressing in this order soak--soil level---soak--soil level. The machine should enter a test mode. Let it run it's test and see if you come up with any error codes. The pressure switch is the one on the left under the consol. It will be marked OPR, the part number is 8054766. The consol will lift up by using a putty knife under each end, pushin on the clips and lifting up. The back panel of the consol is removable. Catriver..post back
