Is a media link box and media module the same for jensen vm9311ts
I have a jensen vm9311ts and want to install my ipod to it, but before i do i want to know if there is a difference between a media module box or a media link box? i know i need one of those two but i dont know which is made for the certain model number for the jensen vm9311ts?

Do i need a media module to play movies with my jensen vm9411 and i dont have my remote either so how can i bypass watching dvd while driving and yes i know its illegal but im not going to be watching it my kids will be thanx

The issue is that the 4th Generation iPod takes far more energy to run than your 4gb iPod. Updating the firmware has nothing to do with it. It's the amount of energy/voltage that this new 8Gig unit takes to run. Think of it as a 4 cylinder verses an 8 cylinder engine. The 8 takes far more gas to run. Blessings,

My Jensen TV/DVD unit came with a media box as well as the head unit. The media box was the interface where my iPod and XM antenna plug in, and everything is routed via a DIN cable from the media box to the head unit. I'd think you're missing that extra module that allows all the auxiliary hookups.
The new ipod will not work with anything other than 2008 alpine products. Apple embedded a chip in the actual cable that tells the ipod that it's ok to pay. What you need is an authentic apple video cable that can only be purchased at the apple store...then hook the inputs up to the video input on the radio.
