Are you sure your device has adequate ram memory to install the program? If it's close to full, delete a few less used programs and try to install Mixit again.
Select the "Download App." tab on the right side of the page. Then you will be asked about your phone model. Provide it as BlackBerry 8310. Now they will show up a screen with instructions and a secret code. Use it to download the software.

you just have to manually input the gprs settings on your mobile 8310 phone. copy the settings of other net-capable phones. we have the same phone, and i'm happily surfing the internet... :)
