A switch that notifies the camera of the lense cap must be broken?

My camera won't let me record. It keeps saying the lens cap is on.


its probibly early signs of condensation or a little damp air with faults of this nature same as lense cap fault and or condensation fault leave camera plugged in and switched on for a week . when camera has been on for a while dont put it straight into a bag or case leave it a room temp for a couple of hours after use before putting it away .

The camcorders show no picture and keeps flashing lens cap but the lens cap is not on?


Download service manual and diognose problem its easy like ABC you might need a new CCD or another part has failed and has to be replaced just order part online its posted to you and fix it your self school stuff easy peezy this is how everybody does it it will say on service page why the camera has no image and flashes on screen messedges you can always put it on ebay hey dont forget to throw in service manual as well

Problem lens cap


I had same problem with my gr-d73aa camcorder and jvc fixed it for free because it was manurefactures fault.

It says lens cap when lens cap is removed

You have an internal "lens cap" that covers the lens to protect it when it is not in use. Look around the front of the camera, near the lens and you should find some sort of switch or lever that will open the lens cap.

Camcorder keeps asking me to remove lens cap


Contact JVC, they fix this error FREE. They fixed my GRD-50. It's a common fault with lots of them. Give it a go. Good luck.
