Question about Intertherm P3RA-048K Air Conditioner
I have a mobile home that is equiped with an intertherm furnace motor ith a compatible motor from cc dickson in Gaffney, SC because the original was locked up. Now it blows MUCH harder but it won't warm up. I can restrict the air flow and get it somewhat warmer but the furnace runs non stop. It is a 3 speed to where my orginal motor was a one speed but I have it hooked to the red wire for the slowest speed possible. Can anyone help me please as I have 2 small kids that''s having to deal with this also. Thanks so much for the help. Brad
You already diagnosed it yourself. The motor may have been the same physical size but it operates at a higher speed and doesn't remove enough heat from the furnace. You need to have the right motor installed period.
