I would say it all depends on how many AH your battery is and what amp your charger is they differ between 8 to 14 hours that is for new batteries as a battery gets older the less time it takes to charge so if your batteries are getting fully charged in 2 hours its time to start thinking of changing them
good luck and hope this helps

Usually 10-12 hours should bring the scooter up to full charge.

How do i permanently stop the beeper on my pride mobility Go Go Sport 4-wheel scooter?

That cannot be done because it is a safety feature of the scooter. If you're saying that it beeps continuously because of the flat battery, that indicates the battery may not hold its full charge and need replacement. if you remove the beeper you will not be notified when it's time to charge the battery. When the battery is charged, does it discharge faster than when the scooter was new? If so, then you need a new battery. Replace it and see if the beeper stops. If the existing battery is fully charged, does the beeper stop? If so, all is well, it's the battery issue. If it doesn't stop beeping, you have to take the scooter to an authorized agent to rectify the problem. I believe the battery is reaching end of its life.

My dad has a new scooter. he did not use it for some time the battery died... when i charge it back it won't charge... what would i do?

please rate my answer as a thumbs up 1 to 4 please,im disabled myself & do this cause i care not for profit. If the batteries are [AGM or GEL] you could have ruined them by letting them run down.Start again with the charging & follow the guidelines as to charging.& go from there, have the batteries tested,if they are ok,ur mobile again. Also you could & download as a PDF File the info on your product, you can keep in Adobe Reader or Print for future.I have an electric scooter myself & the charging of the batteries is really important,if i just go 1/4 mile i will put them on charge.i have a trickle charger, mine can be left on for 3 months if im right. But IF BATTERIES ARE NOT USED WHEN FULLY CHARGED,BEST TO DISCONNECT THEM,SO THEY KEEP THEIR FULL CHARGE.HOPE I WAS OF HELP COLIN.

Tried charging battery , it will not take a charge

Hi. Most likely to be the batteries. I have had a few batteries over the years in similar condition. Sometimes charging a 12 volt battery in this condition with 24 volts for a few minutes, will get it to start taking some charge. then you can give it a charge with the proper charger. This wont fix the battery, but it will get the machine to operate for a short time to determine if there is any other faults. Good luck. Neil.

I have a Rascal 600f scooter that seems 2 work okay except both the power meter and charging meter indicates energy loss wrong. As the power is used the meter very very slowly goes down from full charge...

It is pretty common for the meters on the charger to either not work at all, or give an inaccurate reading. They get bounced and dropped, and they aren't that well built to begin with. Basically, just ignore the charger as long as you are getting a full charge out of it, and getting good distance with each charge.

Batteries are charged, scooter won't move, no power to display

It is impossible to overcharge with the Pride charger. When the battery is full, it will stop charging and check about oncew a miute to maintain the charge.

Now, when you plug in the key (looks like an audio headset jack) does the battery meter indicate a full charge? Also, the scooter will not move if its in free wheel mode, and it will not move if the charger is plugged in. Beyond these first steps, you will need a voltage meter to troubleshoot.
