Question about Rival 38651-C 6-Quart
Water is coming into my refrigerator and ice is in the freezer.
When it rains is the key to your problem!
its not a plumbing problem it's a foundation problem. When it comes in at the base of the wall, where it meets the floor it needs to be fixed by releasing the water pressure build up under the floor. Needed is a under the floor sump pump and or a under the floor drain line installed, by removing the floor in that area and then after work is done re cementing floor back together.
plumbing will not fix it!

More than likely (I can't be sure from here!), your icemaker "motor module" has failed. This module controls the amount of water that goes into the ice tray. If the timer fails, the water valve can stay open. Also, if this is a new unit, or a used refrigerator you just installed, all you may need is to reset the timer on the motor module. The icemaker must be removed to do that. The tray fill time varies with the local water pressure. If your water pressure increases for some reason, the time must be shortened to avoid overfilling the tray.
