my phone won't display the sd card info says it can't open the file card was from my old verizon phone

File from old phone is not readable since it is not compatible. Same with the applications and firmware used.
If some of the files could be read, it would only be picture files or so, but music and the rest would not be read if not compatible with software version of phone.
