The printer always worked or never worked ?  Windows version? For a printer to work properly it must have the correct driver installed. One that matched the version of windows that you are using.
Download and install the correct driver:

Print unable 6A is displaying on the printer screen of DCP-7055 3 in 1 Brother printer, Pse help me

The 6A error is a fuser problem. It is temperature related, and is not heating at all or quickly enough. Also, it can be cause from power fluctuation.

to qoute the manual

Error 6A:
Heater warming up timeout error
(heater does not reach 60C within 11secs)

Cause:
Thermistor Assy
Halogen Lamp.

Before you purchase a new one though you might want to try a reset as it sometimes clears the error if it is not physical in nature (faulty part)

As follows - Press Menu,*,2,8,6,4 (must be done inside two seconds). It should say maintenance in the display after a short delay. press 91 (to reset the error data), then 99 (to exit maintenance mode).

If the error returns after a power off and on then you will need to replace the fuser. It is user replacable via the rear cover. (should be supplied with instructions)
