1. make sure HS-905BT is off (hold Power till the blue light goes off, you hear descending sequence of tones)
2. hold Power to turn on (ascending tones, blue LED on) + KEEP holding Power till the blue LED flashes twice and you hear a double-beep. Device is ready for pairing.
The three beeps usually indicate low talk time. If you have tried
turning off and on your headset and still have the annoying beeps, then
there is a problem with the device. You'll need to contact your retailer
or Plantronics (800-544-4660 x5538) for warranty replacement. If it's out of warranty, check out our website Headsets Direct for the latest in Bluetooth headsets.
Try to unmute the headset. This may be your problem. The mute function is enabled through the volume buttons. Simply tap both
volume buttons at the same time until you hear a mute tone. The mute
tone when unmuting the call will be a descending tone. When you tap both
volume buttons, if you hear a descending tone you have just disabled
the mute function and your problem is solved. If the mute tone is
ascending tones you have just enable the mute function and this was not
the issue. If this is the case consult your user manual or contact
Motorola for trouble shooting.

a short beep normally indicates that your phones network signal is low or absent, so you are aware that you are in a low signal area without looking at your phone, or two short peeps normally means the headset needs charging.
