Re: tv stuck on video
Most universal remotes will not operate menu fuctions or allow input selections. try using channel down buttton on tv . go all the way down to channel two then go down again to see if video1 or 2 comes up. if not access menu functions on front panel go to input select enter in manually mch

If your iLO TV worked with your universal remote and now doesn't, remove the batteries from the remote and push all the buttons in case one is stuck then reinstall the batteries and program it again with the iLO code
Well first if you don't have a factory remote you will have to purchase a universal remote that supports i'll products program using factory codes or do a manual search( which takes a little time but I have had better luck with for more functions ) after programming you press tv/vcr button in which it should display ant. vIDEO1 video 2 and component repress button until desired chann
el is highlighted coincideing with whatever location you have your device connected rear is video 1 and multicolor is component and front is video2
Universal remote alway work only the basic for the tv.Beyond that will have problems or stuck in some input or modes.Sorry i can't help u, because i don't know what is the reaction to ur tv by the universal remote, must use the universal remote again tries all the buttons like video modes or input botton.Or take the battery out like 20 mins of the universal remote to erase ur tv codes enter it again.Tries those buttons u pushes before, see if u can get out the video mode. All else fail.Try website like Remotes.com to buy the tv original remote to use.
You need to change the input source to TV. You can do this with the original remote by pressing Input. (Unless the unit is in VCR mode then press TV and then Input). There is no Input button on this TV as far as I know.
If you do not have the original remote, you need a remote that matches this function. An exact replacement remote is available here: http://www.remotes.com/remotes/servlet/rs?a=Search&o=c&uid=0&m=DS35510&uuid=12925568663700 . Some universal remotes will have this feature but usually not the cheapest ones. Make sure the universal remote was programmed at least 6 months after the TV was released. The exception: the universal remotes that can be programmed via a USB connection to your computer.
Yippie, I figured out a solution that worked!!! I have a univeral remote from comcast, on that remote near the bottom left is a small button that says (input) tv/vcr, press that one time and whala!! the tv video screen was gone, I had to manually change the channel from the tv channel button on the unit. once I changed the channel to 3, my universal remote worked... the button is the second one from the bottom left... I was on hold with sanyo for a long time and just kept trying on my own, so good luck!!!!
If you are using the remote that came with the TV, it is already programmed for it. If you are using a universal remote such as a Logitech, RCA, Sony etc. go to the appropriate web site for support and remote codes for your TV. Good luck..
