    Same problem here !!!!!!!!!!

bought 2 used print server TE100-PS3plus from RedFrog Networks on ebay but when I tried to configure them they ask me to enter a password and I don't have them.

Could you let me know how to override the security or reset the password.

on the back there should be a hole to stick a paper clip or a pen into to reset.

The default password for the device is
    username > admin
    password> admin

There is a utility that you need to access the server. Your firewall has to be off. The link here:

http://www.trendnet.com/downloads/list_subcategory.asp?TYPE_ID=30&SUBTYPE_ID=150

will give you all of the manuals, data sheets and software for this server. I am going to presume that once you get in with the utility you can reset the username and password. I did not, however, see anything that talked about a reset button, unfortunately.

Power is 2950 i912 sel full

Namrata_stha,

The I912 error is referring to the System Event Log is full of events and because of this is unable to log anymore. You must clear the log in order for the Server Management controller to log any more events. Now depending on the OS installed there are different ways to clear it. If Windows Server 2k8 you would use this command - wevtutil el ' foreach { wevtutil cl $_ }
Where with Server 2003 you can go tot he Event viewer and clear it.

Let me know if this helps.

Sel full 1912 error

Hello,

You will get the "Sel Full 1912 error" on your server when the system event log is full and unable to record further events. You must clear the event log before the error will cancel. Boot your system into the BIOS/CMOS, locate the system logs and select clear log, reboot your system. Once the system is back up, I would go into the admin task folder and make sure the logs are clear there as well.

Good Luck.

In HP prolliant server sets, setup also logs system events. This error is due to that log. Enter setup, trace log and clear all events.

Beside administrator, were there any other user accounts on the machine? If so, you can log in as one of those. If they have admin rights, even better.

Depending on the lock out policy that was set in windows, try it again. In some cases, it may be a few hours, in some cases, it may be days. All depends on how the policy was set up.

If this all fails, your next option would be to reload the OS and start all over. You can use the original instal disks that came with it.
